More Cards

Hi Again,
I'm on a roll this weekend.
Some friends of mine said that they have lost their Mojo..... they have all come to my house because I have so many ideas that I'd need three pairs of hands and nothing else to do!!
Here are some cards that I have made for the Country Market in New Ross.
You can find them on Facebook HERE.
I had a feel for browns this morning.

Name Tag Challenge

Hi,
Yesterday at Yvonne's Kilkenny Class the challenge was to make a free standing name tag.
I only found out last Wed night so on friday night I looked for inspiration in the well organised space (I don't think so) that I call the craft area and I found a few bits that I had made previously and they all went together extremely well.
Here is what I made....

I made the frame from paper and the Flower is from Jak Heath.
I hand drew my name and coloured it in with promarkers.
I put it all on an easel card.
I hope you like it.

A new Start.

Hi everyone ,
I haven't blogged for a while, so I'm going to start afresh.
I went to Yvonnes workshop in Kilkenny yesterday and made the most beautiful cards.
She surpassed herself. You can find her HERE.
These are the cards we made....

Flower Fairy Birthday Card

I'm here on my own today and the peace and quiet is wonderful. When I'm finished on the computer I'm off to make a few more cards. Meanwhile here is one for the challenge at Charisma Cardz called 'Things with wings'. It is only the second challenge that I have entered. It's all about the fun of creating.

The image is from Flower Fairies.
The dried lavender is from woods near where I  live.
The bottom corner of the cream was cut with a Nellie Snellen die,
and also the butterfly.

Hi everyone and a Happy Valentines Day to All.
My friend Phil was very busy over the weekend making little presents for her class.
She used my hand drawn Buttercup the Elephant to decorate her boxes.
I wonder how many did she cut out as they are all decoupaged!!
Here they are in all their glory,

They are really Fantastic.

Sweet Hearts

On this card I used Tim Holtz Milled lavendar Distress Ink around the card edge and stamped hearts in the back ground.
The swirl stamps are by Artemio. I stamped on the edge of the card and then cut around it.
The top edge of the card is accentuated by Berry Fizz glitter.
Hearts are Nellie Snellen Dies.
Sentiment is LOTV.
I finished it with some peeloffs and Stickles.

Kilkenny Class

Thank you to the ladies in Kilkenny for being so enthusiastic last night. I really enjoyed it. Here is the card I made with them and a variation of it also.

The oval die cut shape is from Nellie Snellen and I used the scalloped edge to work the thread on in a spirelli style. The fancy edge on the cream card was achieved by using Nellie Snellen Eastern rectangle die cut at the corner of the cream layer and drawing around the shape that you want and cutting it by hand.
The top heart is cut from holographic paper and the bottom one is plain red card with scrolls hand drawn in red pro-marker.
