I'm here on my own today and the peace and quiet is wonderful. When I'm finished on the computer I'm off to make a few more cards. Meanwhile here is one for the challenge at Charisma Cardz called 'Things with wings'. It is only the second challenge that I have entered. It's all about the fun of creating.
The image is from Flower Fairies.
The dried lavender is from woods near where I live.
The bottom corner of the cream was cut with a Nellie Snellen die,
and also the butterfly.
Hi everyone and a Happy Valentines Day to All.
My friend Phil was very busy over the weekend making little presents for her class.
She used my hand drawn Buttercup the Elephant to decorate her boxes.
I wonder how many did she cut out as they are all decoupaged!!
Thank you to the ladies in Kilkenny for being so enthusiastic last night. I really enjoyed it. Here is the card I made with them and a variation of it also.
The oval die cut shape is from Nellie Snellen and I used the scalloped edge to work the thread on in a spirelli style. The fancy edge on the cream card was achieved by using Nellie Snellen Eastern rectangle die cut at the corner of the cream layer and drawing around the shape that you want and cutting it by hand.
The top heart is cut from holographic paper and the bottom one is plain red card with scrolls hand drawn in red pro-marker.
