A New Zendoodle

Hi Folks,
nothing for ages and now three posts in one morning.
Well here is a little something I doodled over the weekend.
I tried to do one in colour but I love black and white.

Maybe I'll try a colour one next time......

Halloween Spirit

This is a Halloween Card that my 12 yo daughter made.
I couldn't get into the 'spirit' of it but having done taxi for herself and a couple of friends I had a little spirit in a glass with ice- yum!!

Sunny Tuesday

Hi all,
I didn't realise that it was so long since I posted.
Well here I am back today. We survived Halloween weekend and only had one lot of trick or treaters.
Its great to live out in the country side as Inistioge was awash with ghoulies and ghosties and anything else that you care to mention, I know because I was the taxi driver:-)

I've been busy these past few weeks and here are a few cards I have  made along with everything else that I am planning -more info later.

Yes, I guess Christmas is coming

Good Monday Morning to you all!
Its ok, I've been up a while and the foggy head is gone and I'm feeling as bright as I sound.
I had a wonderfully mad day on Saturday with Yvonne Tune in Clonegal (a little north of Bunclody).
We crafted all day and boy was I tired. I took yesterday off and did more of the same (",)
Here are some of the cards we made ...

This Afternoons 'Wee' card.

Here is another Wee Stamp.
She is very enchanting and seems to be dreaming
 as she strolls along.
So I thought that 'Thinking of you' was an apt greeting.
The lace on this card is made by punching an embossed white paper and I finished it by adding some butterflies and flowers
in gold peeloffs.

This Mornings 'Wee' Card

I recently found Wee Stamps and fell in love with them.
Below is one that I coloured with Promarkers, added a bit of sparkle and mounted onto purple and silver card.
I stamped a swirly design on the top and bottom of the card in purple and added lace and flowers and a stamped greeting from Lilly of the Valley.
I hope you like it as much as I do:-)

My Zentangle

Hi Everyone,
Thanks to Yvonne I spent all last night doodling. I followed the link for Inspirational Craft Blogs and found 'Zentangling'. Of course I had to have a go as I've spent most of my life doodling if I had a pen in my hand when listening to someone in class or at a seminar etc.
Well here is my first official Zendoodle :-)

I drew a few loopy loops on a piece of card and using a fine nibbed pen I filled them in and embellished the outside spaces then.
There are patterns that you can follow but I just had fun and did what I felt fitted in.
Shading and folds and different patterns give a dimensional appearance.
This piece is only 3" by 3". Try it yourself and have fun.

Kay:-)

Priceless Things

PRICELESS THINGS~

Life holds so many priceless things
The falling rain--the wind that sings
Each star on a high--a big full moon
And sunbeams dancing in your room
The river as it rushes on
A sunset when day is gone
No wealth can buy a mountain tall
These priceless things belong to all
An autumn tree lends beauty rare
With leaves piled deep most everywhere
As nature wears a glowing smile
to make each day a day worthwhile
Could anything be quite as dear
As laughing children that we hear
The gift of friendship that is ours
The miracle of growing flowers
Each magic moment--treasured time
These priceless gifts are yours and mine...

Baby Girl Cards

Hi, I've been working on a few Baby girl cards.

I'm delighted with them. Wish I could craft all day everyday.
Kay.
